About Chart Lab

A market-watch tool from public data, plus chart-image analysis for education. Not investment advice. No orders. No client funds.

1. Executive summary

Chart Lab is an educational market-watch tool with two main parts: Market shows 24-hour return rankings and price charts from public data, and Chart analysis reads a chart image with a vision model, then summarizes trend, patterns, and observations from what is in the image. The language is descriptive, not a trade order.

2. Problems we mean to reduce

Live charts being read as trade orders — people see a price and decide immediately. The app shows data as a watch tool, not an entry signal.

Chart screenshots being read as trade orders — screenshots are often forwarded with hype. Analyzer answers in observational language and always ends with a disclaimer.

3. Vision

An honest chart-reading lab: practice every day, analyze images without placing orders, and never touch the user’s money.

Not a broker, not a fund, not a licensed investment adviser — educational software and information.

4. Product parts

Chart analysis — upload PNG / JPG / WebP up to 10MB and optional context (timeframe, pair, news). The image is sent to Claude vision, which returns trend, patterns, broad confidence, support/resistance, and observational reasons.

Market — 24-hour return ranking and price charts from public data. By default it follows the strongest mover. Not a trade order.

Price charts are pulled from public sources such as TradingView, Binance, and CoinGecko.

6. Model limits

The vision model can only read what is in the image. It may miss scale, indicators, or timeframe if the picture is unclear, and it must not be treated as a future predictor.

Prices use public sources. If a source is down, the market page says the load failed. We do not invent a fake chart.

7. Privacy and risk

Illustration of caution and educational analysis
Chart images are for education — they are not stored as investment orders

Users sign up with a username and password. The session is in a cookie. Analyzer logs store context and the analysis text. We do not intend to keep image files permanently.

The main risk is reading analysis as a trade signal. Every page has a disclaimer, fake-precise accuracy percentages are forbidden, and profit guarantees are forbidden.

Chart Lab is available worldwide as educational software, not a country-licensed financial service. Details are in the terms of use and privacy policy.
